My Food Chain

A food chain is an order of a living things and what they eat depending on where they live. Food chains always start with a producer. Here is an example of a food chain. A whale eats a seal and the seal eats a penguin and the penguin eat a fish and fish eat a krill. Krill eats plankton. Plankton is a producer. Another example of a different ecosystem is when a hawks eats a snake and the snake eats a rat, the rat eats the acorn.

Takapu bird

1.Where can you find a takapu bird?At Muriwai island 2.What does a takapu eat?Fish 3.What does a baby takapu do when they are sixteen year old?Fly to Australia. The Female bird lay one egg and make her nest with seaweed and the male and female take turn to look after the egg.

Immersion Assembly

On Monday I went to school and it was Immersion assembly. Our whole school inquiry is called Pt England School Investigates. The first item was from team 1 all the way to team 5.The teachers showed us a play of what they are doing for their groups. Team 4 is learning about Antarctica animal like seals,killer whale. During the week, our class had to go to different classes and do some cool activities. One of the things that we did for Miss Ouano is core sampling. We did this using cupcakes.

Antarctica

Antarctica is the coldest place on earth. Do you know that scientists and researchers live in Antarctica because they need to see how cold the water is and to keep and eye on the global warming and the animals too. Antarctica is made up of 70% freshwater.
 

The snowman

The snowman When it was snowing Nan and Ana and Tui went outside to play in the snow. They walked onto the road and made a snowman . They had to were their woollies.Woolies are like their warms shoes,hats, gloves and the last thing they had to put on were their jackets

Whale

Whales live in the ocean. Female whales are called cows and male is called a bull. A baby whale is called a calf. Some whales have teeth and some don’t. Whales are large mammals.

Will.I.AM

Today after morning tea the whole school had to go to the hall for the assembly because there was a visitor coming to our school and there was another school called manaiakalani came too. when Mr burt told us who was coming to our school pt england all got shocked by will.i.am when he walked in.people had some camera’s ipads and phones too.The hip hop did a dance and the Maori group too.There was the new people that was putting the new about Will.i.am.

My Holiday

On Monday I went to my nana’s house and my little sister Shea went with my mum and my nana Julietta to the hospital. They went to take Shea to get her tooth pulled out. On Saturday I went to the G.I KFC for lunch with my mum, sister Shea ,brother Jeremiah and my stepdad. Then we went shopping at Pak n Save. After that we went home then we went to my Aunty Josephine’s. i played on the the laptop i was playing games. On Sunday my mum went up North to see my Aunty Josephine again and my cousin Timothy and my stepdad and my Uncle Ricky.On Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday,Friday i just stayed home.On Saturday i went wendys with my mum,Stepdad,brother,and my sisters shea and zamera,On Sunday my mum went to my nana julietta. Then my uncle and my aunty had to look after us so when my mum and them came back from the airport she would talk to us about going to the zoo. Mum gave my little sister Zamera $5 and my other sister shea $10 and i got $20.

Rugby League

In the morning Room 13 went to Rugby league after we did our roll our coach was James. We played Benji says that was our warm up. We had to pass to each other there was blue team the blue team had a blue band and the other team had to where nothing. we did duck duck goose when we had to go in circle and we had to pass the ball to each other then James say go someone had run. We had to pass the ball back like someone in behind you then you pass the ball. we did Octopus but with the ball. we went on the field.On the field we did 2 on 1. When we were playing all the games, I felt happy because that was heaps of fun.
