2015 Reflection

Hi,Have you ever had to write a whole recount about 2015,well that is why I am here to tell you all about my year.By the way can you please leave me a comment please thank you.

Have you ever had a good whole year?Well did you know that this whole years was the best & that we went on different kind of trips such as polyfest,Rainbows end,Parakai & much more.If you are wondering why I am telling you this,it is because you know what the years 7 & 8 have experince.

This whole years was the best,It made me feel proud of myself and so happy.I wish we could not go back,but only stay in this year one more time. My satisfying thing was meeting new teacher in team 5 ,such as Mr Wiseman,Miss Peat & Ms Hockley,they have been the best teachers.

The frustrating or difficult thing was trying new thing I have never ever done before such as going to rainbows end,that was my first time in ever going to rainbows end. If I could ever grade myself by being awesome it would have been 9 out of 10,because it has been a rough year.  

Well the thing that I have participated in was Netball,Cross Country finals ,Athletics competitions, & much more,those thing were so good for me and it really helped me to get better at things and to get better at sports. In 2016 next year I would change myself by participating in different kind of sport and to do my best to help kids that are hurt & that need help with work.

If you did not know I really love to do maths & writing those are my favourite thing to do when I am at school. Maths has always been in me but sometime I can work the problem out or sometime I can not ,that is why I want to keep doing maths.Writing is the best because I get to write a lot & to write what I have experience,writing has helped me a lot,other thing I am good at is helping people that are stuck, & reading is the best it has really really helped me as well because If I can not understand a word it may help me by seeing different kinds of meanings.

Maybe I could have more help with writing,maths & reading,It may help me to get better & to be the best,better than I am right now.

By the way that is what I have for you  right now about 2015,but I will be back next year telling you about 2016 & that is my last year at pt england school,but I mean next year is my last year,you know what I mean right...

The day I lost my Phone

Did you know that we have been writing about something that got lost and my one is all about a time my phone got lost.Please leave me a comment.

The day I lost my  Phone …….

It was a beautiful sunny day, and my mum had brought me I new phone for my birthday. Then she took me to the movies to watch born to dance I also took my phone with me. While I was waiting for the movies to start I sat down and I was playing with my phone. Finally the movie started so I put my phone into my pocket.

Then a few hours later the movie was finished we got out of the movies and jumped in the car just as we got home I went to crab my phone out of my pocket when suddenly my phone was gone. I told my mum and then she was yelling at me saying “That was your new phone you better find it or else you won’t get another phone again or ever”.

After that I asked my mum if she can take me back to the movies. I arrived at the movies looking everywhere but still no sign of my phone. I went to ask the people that worked there but they said” they have not seen it too”. I sat down crying my eyes out. It was the best birthday present I ever had.

Just then looking in the bins I found my phone it was covered in popcorn I told my mum and she was so happy we went home. I was talking to my mum say “ sorry for losing my phone it will not happen again”.

I felt so happy finding my phone and having the best birthday present for my mum.At the end me and my mum where laughing about a funny video and she was happy that I was happy.

Charity

Did you know that me and my partner have been doing charity in our home class all of team 5 that is years 7 & 8 have been doing charity and we have to learn about those charity.Me and my partner have chosen Make a wish and Red cross.I hope that you like it and I am still working on it so if you are thinking that it is not finished well me and my partner are working on it and to make sure that it is finished.

How to prevent yourself from getting sick

Did you know that for the lasts few days in our  in our literacy class we have been learning about explanation writing and it was all about how to prevent yourself from getting sick.Here it is hope you like it and please leave me a comment thank you.


Did you know that for the last few days we have been learning all about how to prevent yourself from getting sick.This may contain sickness or other viruses going around in and out. Winter is here now and you know what that mean sickness is coming around. Did you know that if you are sick you can’t go wherever your mum or sister goes.

One of the easiest ways of staying healthy is eating a balanced range of food. This means eating from the 5 food groups with a focus on fruits and vegetables. If you do that then your body will receive all the nutrients it needs to be in the best condition to fight off invading germs.

Another way to prevent yourself from getting sick is not to share food with family and friends. This means don't eat after other people who have already eaten the food they gave you. This will stop you you from getting sick and staying home. If you do this then you will prevent yourself from not sharing germs and saliva with others.

A final way to prevent yourself from getting sick is by washing your hands.This means after going to the toilet, before dinner and after going outside.To keep your hands clean you should wash with soap,warm water and then dry your hands to keep the dirt away.If you do this that means you are preventing yourself from not getting  germs and keeping nice and healthy.


If you follow this may help you to make sure your kids or yourself prevent yourself from get sick.There for making sure you know who is sick and not to shake their hands or touch them if they finished sneezing on them self. So make sure you are keeping yourself nice and clean and warm.

Talking Point Reflection

Did you know that this week we have been learning all about Ratio and if you do not know what Ratio is well I am here to tell you here is a presentation for you to see and I did it with a group and it was Kishan and Byron.We worked so hard on it that we complete it.
 

Spend,Share,Save

 Today we have been doing Spend,Share,Save and me and my partner Rowana have been working on it.Some of it has not been done but it will just the first 4 have been done and it will tell you all about Spend,Share,Save it may help you.

Shopping & Change

Did you know that today I just finished my shopping & change if you do not know what that is well I will tell you.In maths we had to get in our groups and work out the problems and then solve them.I add up the total of the money to see how much it cost, and then I had to subtract to see how much change I will get back.Well I was doing my shopping & change problem solving it made me feel great because when I go shopping and they tell me to give them $23.00 and that is how much it cost I would have given them $30.00 and I know how much change to get back.
For example:

$2.10 + $1.30=$3.40

$3.20 + $3.40=$6.60-Spent

$20 - $6.60 = $13.40-Change

Money

Last week we did a bunch of question about Miss Peato going shopping with $100 dollars and her change was $68.20. We had to show 5 different ways how we would get $68.20.Today I have showed you 5 different ways I would get $68.20.

Maths Progression

Did you know that I am sill on green but I know how to solve problems and I know how to answer them but I am know how to give more details and give different way to show how I got it and I help people to get a good progress. My goal is to jump to Green or to Blue and Purple so I can get better at my maths and asking question and solving problems. Thank you.

Maths Progress

Hello here is my Maths Progress,I am currently on orange because I can speak in a clear voice and I can ask Question to people and solve a problem.I ask for help when I need it and I help people to get a good progress. Today Ms Kyla came in to our Maths class room 4, she came and talked to us about the 3P's. 3P's stands for Partnership, Participation and Protection. Miss Kyla made write down the 3 Ps and how we would o it online.The 3 Ps can make you learn and make you know better. Using the 3 Ps may help you a lot. Juliet and Alla's Research

Hey did you know that me and my buddy were researching about world war 1. We were researching thing they used and thing they had to wear. The guns they had to use was a Rifle with a Bayonet at the top. They had to wear boots to protect their feet. Do you know what Gas Masks are used for? They are used to protect you so you don't die from gas bombs. Did you know that they used Grenades were used for blowing things up.

ANZAC DAY MEMORIAL

            ANZAC DAY MEMORIAL

I sat and wondered in my head how it felt to be in the war and watch people get shot and die. It’s hard to Imagine what the kids will feel when their dads died and never came back.When I was looking at the crosses it made me feel bad because of the soldiers and how kids would feel.

Looking over the crosses it made me feel like I can make everything go back and make that war not happen so the kids can be happy with their dads. In my head I was thinking why they went to war and how it happened and who started the war.If I went to war to help the soldiers I would make sure that they go home safe to their families and they can be happy.

Just looking at all the crosses made me feel so so so sad and made me feel how it felt to be in the war.

Matific

This is another Matific but it is really hard this time but it is good and great so I can learn More.

In this box,

1. This Matific work sheet was hard and it is great because it is hard and I need to learn my Division .
2. Before I started I looked at the Question and then I just got the Answer

Maths,Matific

In this Box:
1.What I liked about this is when it was hard and I kind of new the answer.

YEAH POLYFEST!!!

Kia Ora,Talofalava,Malo e lelei have you ever been to polyfest well if you have I bet that it was so cool and fun.By the way can I tell you something well Point England School year 7 & 8 went to Polyfest and we had the best time of our life.

As soon as we got there we had to wait for a little bit for class 3 but they were all ready in the polyfest.When we had to walk in they had to check our bag for thing that are not aloud in there.

By the way our first activity was we had to go to FLAVA and take a photo and play some games.Well we were there we were

having fun.

Just as we had to move to another activity.I was thinking in my head what was the next one and it was the ASB poster note.All we had to do was write something on a peace on note and then they had to hang it.After we had to do all of our Activity we had to have lunch.After lunch we had to get in our groups and I was in a Uli’s team and hi sister bought us some Ice block and we went to watch some other cultures.

Just as we were going home I did not want to but we had to go.We jumped on the bus and we went to school. Then we went home.

YUMMY BURGERS

Hay have you ever had Burgers well my zeal zone team did and it was so yummy and taste.Before we had to do all of those thing we had  to butter the Burgers,Cook the meat patties,Peal the letters,cut some carrot and Sauce. We had to add all of those together and then we had to say our pray and then we got to eat out yummy BURGERS.

Zeal Zone Rice Krispie Treats

Did you know my group mad Rice Krispie treats.

Can I tell you something Miss Tele'a went to get some shopping and 7.00 clock just to get some....

-Marshmallow for -$2
-Sunrise table spread was -$2
-Rice pops was -$3

All together it was 7.00.

Hay sorry I have not finished what I was saying.Well we had to put 6 cup of marshmallows and 6 cup of rice Pops.Then we had to take the thing in to the kitchen to cook. But before we had to do any thing we had to put half a cup of butter ones the butter was melted,after that we put the marshmallows in and had to Stir it  and the last we had to put the rice pops in.

We had to wait for a little while and the put it in a tray and bring it out for it to cool down after it cools down we got to eat it and it tasted to yummy and nice and I wish I could just eat more and make more.

First day of school

Yesterday I came to school and I was thinking in my head who was my teacher then I found out who was my teacher and her name was Miss Peato and when i saw her I was feeling our right because I have new teacher.Before I went go and see my teacher I went to go and see my friends but we had go in to the hall and Mr burt had to tell us what class we where in.The year 8,7 and 6 had to go to class and our teacher had to tell us what class we were in.I hoping that most of my friend were in my class.Just as Miss Tele'a was calling the name out I was in room 5 and My friend we in my class well most of them.

 Later we were playing games and had to do a bingo game we had to ask people if they were the oldes or youngest and other thing and our winner was Katalina she was good at this game.  I had fun on the first day because of the new kids and teacher but really the building.When I went home ran to my mum's room and I as telling her all about school and the new kids and teacher and she was so happy that I was happy.
