Winter is here now and you know what that mean sickness is coming around. Did you know that if you are sick you can’t go wherever your mum or sister goes.

One of the easiest ways of staying healthy is eating a balanced range of food. This means eating from the 5 food groups with a focus on fruits and vegetables. If you do that then your body will receive all the nutrients it needs to be in the best condition to fight off invading germs.

Another way to prevent yourself from getting sick is not to share food with family and friends. This means don't eat after other people who have already eaten the food they gave you. This will stop you you from getting sick and staying home. If you do this then you will prevent yourself from not sharing germs and saliva with others.

A final way to prevent yourself from getting sick is by washing your hands. This means after going to the toilet, before dinner and after going outside. To keep your hands clean you should wash with soap, warm water and then dry your hands to keep the dirt away.If you do this that means you are preventing yourself from not getting  germs and keeping nice and healthy.

If you follow this may help you to make sure your kids or yourself prevent yourself from get sick. There for making sure you know who is sick and not to shake their hands or touch them if they finished sneezing on them self. So make sure you are keeping yourself nice and clean and warm.
