Have you ever had a good whole year?Well did you know that this whole years was the best & that we went on different kind of trips such as polyfest,Rainbows end,Parakai & much more.If you are wondering why I am telling you this,it is because you know what the years 7 & 8 have experince.
This whole years was the best,It made me feel proud of myself and so happy.I wish we could not go back,but only stay in this year one more time. My satisfying thing was meeting new teacher in team 5 ,such as Mr Wiseman,Miss Peat & Ms Hockley,they have been the best teachers.
The frustrating or difficult thing was trying new thing I have never ever done before such as going to rainbows end,that was my first time in ever going to rainbows end. If I could ever grade myself by being awesome it would have been 9 out of 10,because it has been a rough year.
Well the thing that I have participated in was Netball,Cross Country finals ,Athletics competitions, & much more,those thing were so good for me and it really helped me to get better at things and to get better at sports. In 2016 next year I would change myself by participating in different kind of sport and to do my best to help kids that are hurt & that need help with work.
If you did not know I really love to do maths & writing those are my favourite thing to do when I am at school. Maths has always been in me but sometime I can work the problem out or sometime I can not ,that is why I want to keep doing maths.Writing is the best because I get to write a lot & to write what I have experience,writing has helped me a lot,other thing I am good at is helping people that are stuck, & reading is the best it has really really helped me as well because If I can not understand a word it may help me by seeing different kinds of meanings.
Maybe I could have more help with writing,maths & reading,It may help me to get better & to be the best,better than I am right now.
By the way that is what I have for you right now about 2015,but I will be back next year telling you about 2016 & that is my last year at pt england school,but I mean next year is my last year,you know what I mean right...

ReplyDeleteYou have written a very interesting and thoughtful reflection on your past year. It sounds like you are quite an active sportswoman. I love playing sports as well. In fact, I just joined a netball team here in Auckland. It's a lot of fun but I keep on making mistakes because I didn't play netball when I was growing up in Canada. We played basketball, instead of netball, so I always want to dribble to ball instead of passing it!
I also loved to read that you enjoy reading, writing and maths. I hope that you will continue to practice your reading and writing this summer by participating in the Summer Learning Journey. It's a great way to maintain your skills and make sure that you're ready for Year 8 in February.

ReplyDeleteWow, you have given a very thorough reflection of the last year. I really enjoyed reading about your experiences! It sounds like you are quite an athlete. What's your favourite distance to run in Cross Country? At the school I teach at in Canada we have a cross country team and they run about 5 kilometres at their races. What type of sport might you like to try next year? What are common sports in New Zealand? Looking forward to hearing from you! Cheers, Leigh
